Arjun Natarajan - Founder & Chairman
He is a global citizen who has lived and traveled to many parts of the world, from East to West. He has a diverse portfolio with a strong background in Management Consulting and Investment. Having worked in China, New York, and India in the consulting field, he has a lot of experience in understanding global markets and cross-border business development. Before the consulting industry, he worked in logistics & transportation in India and the telecom industry for a UK-based company, Virgin Media. Hailing from a family business background gives him a strong command over the managerial operations of a company. He has been featured as the "Consultant of the Year 2021" by the "The CEO Magazine." He is currently the Director of the China Chamber of International Commerce, Zhejiang Branch - 中国国际商会浙江商会. He is also a Senior Sino-Indian Business Consultant & Advisor to the Zhejiang Commerce Department. He is largely focused on empowering domestic businesses to scale up in their cross-border activities and make cross-border business development mainstream. He is also an Investor and Board Member of ZiDEC - A Blockchain Technology company based in China. His strong work ethic and business acumen make him an ideal choice to lead the company.
Lishuang Chen - CEO
She comes from a very strong entrepreneurial background. Having founded 2 companies in Hangzhou, she has a robust entrepreneurial capability and business mindset. She is very well acquainted with the business circle and the government circle in Zhejiang Province. Also, she is an elite member of many commerce chambers in China. Having seen the Sino-Indian market potential, she is now majorly engaged in this new venture creation. Having graduated from Zheijiang University with a master's in business administration provides her with the technical skillset to run her businesses more effectively. Her love for other cultures and open mindset to innovative business ideas allow her to have a unique approach to many business-related matters. Her strong personality and streamlined entrepreneurial perspective make her an ideal choice to be the company's face in China. She is the recipient of the "Most Characteristics and International Vision Award" & "Global Perspective Award" by Zhejiang University for her work in the Sino-Indian market, cross-border business development, global perspective, and disruptive entrepreneurship. She also serves as the Director of International Relations in "Zhejiang Foreign Economy Interchange Association."
Shi Yuan Ming - Senior Director of Finance
He comes with 25+ years of experience in Financial Engineering and teaching. He obtained his Master’s in Financial Engineering from the Nanjing University of Technology. He has held many positions in Private companies and SOEs- State-Owned Enterprises. He had worked for 14 years in ICBC – Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Henan and 11 years in the Hangzhou Institute of Financial Research of ICBC. Currently, he serves as a Director of Qiantangjiang Institute of Financial Research in Zhejiang. Later in his career, he moved away from commercial work to financial research and education. He is well known for his book “Commercial Bank Training Practice.” He has held many positions such as Manager of Education Department of ICBC, Director and School Dean of Provincial Training Department of ICBC, Deputy Director of Infrastructure Office of Hangjin Institute, and General Manager of Financial Service Center of Golden Research Institute. He currently advises large private & public companies on their financial and investment structure.
Wu Zong Fang - Senior Advisor, Investments and Innovation
He has 15+ years of experience in the field of product innovation and the startup ecosystem. He has been a crucial pillar of the Zhejiang Angel Investor community. Having already founded a prominent VC firm in Hangzhou, his company has many portfolio investments in the Hi-tech space in China. He obtained his master's from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His Hi-Tech, Internet Innovation, and Venture Financing background makes him a Senior Expert in Investment and Startup ecosystem. Having served as an entrepreneurial mentor and finalist judge in China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, he is deeply connected with Hangzhou's Hi-tech and Investment community. He has advised many companies and government policymakers in the technology space in China. He serves as a Professional Investment Committee Member of Zhejiang Angel Investment Group, a representing member of China Venture Capital Group. He has won many honors and has been awarded the title "Hangzhou Top 10 Angel Investors" many times. His unique experience in mentorship and investments in domestic and foreign scientific and technological markets provides a dynamic perspective in the rapidly transforming tech environment.
Haihan Chen - Senior Advisor, Government Relations
She comes with many years of experience working with and for various levels of the Chinese Provincial Government. Her work in the B2G space and her strong educational background makes her an asset in understanding many business verticals. She obtained her Engineering degree from Zhejiang University and a Masters's in International Relations from Fudan University. Before working for the Chinese government, she worked in R&D and marketing in the communication engineering industry. Post her post-graduation; she worked with various municipal government agencies. Her experience dealing with government public relations combined with industry marketing helps her advise companies looking to expand to China.
Bao Le Dong - Advisor, Sino-Indian Policy and Government
He is a multi-profession and multi-position dynamic personality. He has 20+ years of experience in law, management, and psychology. He holds a Master’s degree in Economic Law from China University of Political Science and Law. Currently, he is a legal advisor in China Innovation Brokerage Group, a partner of Zhejiang Law Firm, a Senior Lawyer in the Urban Express Legal group. He is also an invited mediator of West Lake District People’s Court and a Wenzhou Commerce Chamber Lawyers’ Advisory Group member. Adding to his affiliations, he is a lecturer at Hangzhou Women’s Activity Center, an EAP growth consultant, and a Zhejiang Mental Health Promotion Association member. He also serves as a National psychological consultant. With his diverse experience, he advises companies, government, and policymakers in the Sino-Indian ecosystem.
Ike Chen - Deputy Director of Operations
He is a young and dynamic individual. Having graduated from Ningbo University in German Business, he has worked for companies in the B2G & B2B market. He has served positions such as Chief Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff - Operations, Asst. General Manager for Hangzhou Nanxi Eco-Environment Technology Co., Ltd. He has managed a team of 4-8 people in Operation – Product Change and Plan Development. He was responsible for the company’s staff training and activity planning, performance appraisal standards, company’s property management. He speaks English, Chinese, German, Wenzhounese. His strong managerial determination and work ethic to handle and delegate projects make him an asset in propelling the company forward.
Zou Yong Chuang - Legal Counsel China
He comes with industry experience of 10+ years in various law fields. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Zhejiang University and a Master’s degree from Shanghai University in Corporate, Financial & Real Estate law. He holds many positions in various associations. He is currently a Professional Committee member of Zhejiang Bar Association, a member of the Management and Cultural Welfare Committee of Hangzhou Bar Association, Secretary-General of the legal group of foreign-based institutions in Hangzhou, Minister of Real Estate and Construction of Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce Lawyer’s Advisory Group. He currently advises private companies on their legal aspects in China.
Zeng Qiao Wen - Senior Advisor, Public Policy and Government
She comes with a diverse portfolio of 15+ years of experience in the field of finance and policymaking. She also served as an Office Director, ICBC Financial Institution. She has advised the government and senior members of commercial banks in their Financial Policy formulation. She has led and managed teams of 100+ personnel. Currently, she advises private companies with their Government Relations.
Zhou Hua Ping - Advisor, Finance Technology
He is a serial entrepreneur by profession. He has co-founded FinTech companies in India and China, where he currently holds the title of CTO. He also holds the position of Chairman in Onion Credit Private Ltd, India. Under his leadership, his company designed a 10 billion CNY lending system. Before his entrepreneurship venture, he worked as a Senior Engineer in Alibaba in the payments ecosystem. Currently, he is committed to developing the FinTech market between China and India.
Avadhi Patni - Research Analyst & Project Management
She has a diverse portfolio in international relations, business operations, finance, and business research. Having a bachelor's degree (Honours) in Accountancy provides her with the technical skillset to understand financial modeling and business operations. She obtained her Master's Degree in International Relations from Symbiosis International University with a major in Asia-Pacific Studies. She has previously worked with multiple think tanks in India and has worked for the State Ministry of Tourism, Madhya Pradesh. Her love for different cultures with good networking & negotiation skills makes her a valued member of A&J.
Sumanth PS - Business Development Manager India
He is a dynamic and multi-professional individual. He has an entrepreneurial DNA. Having co-founded Koko Konnect, a new-age digital marketing firm in Bangalore, he plans to grow this firm under the A&J umbrella. He obtained his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from VIT, India, and graduated from Lancaster University, UK, with an M.Sc in Management and Advanced Marketing Management. He has previously worked for Taneja Aerospace & Aviation, assisting in aircraft components design and assembly. His cross-cultural experience provides him with the skillset to manage and liaison with A&J transnational resources channels.
